  • What is the difference between LVP and laminate?

Luxury vinyl plank and laminate differ in composition, water resistance, and performance. We can help explain which may fit your needs.

  • Will vinyl or laminate flooring look exactly like the sample?

Vinyl and laminate products are designed to have more consistent color and pattern compared to natural materials. However, slight variation can still occur between sample displays and installed flooring due to production batches, lighting, and layout. Samples should be used as a general reference rather than an exact match.

  • Will tile or mosaic flooring vary from the sample?

Yes, tile and mosaic products can show variation in color, texture, and pattern. Differences may occur between individual pieces and between sample boards and installed areas. This variation is a normal characteristic of many tile products and can contribute to the overall design and appearance.

Installation & Process

  • What is included in your installation services?

Our services typically include measuring, project planning, and installation. Specific scope may vary depending on the project, materials selected, and site conditions.

  • Why is floor preparation important?

Floor preparation plays a key role in how a floor performs over time. Industry guidelines and manufacturer recommendations often require certain subfloor conditions, which are typically evaluated after existing materials are removed.

  • How long does installation take?

Timelines vary depending on the size of the project, material availability, and site conditions. We provide estimated timelines, but actual durations may adjust as the project progresses.

Transitions are used where different flooring types meet or where flooring changes direction, helping ensure a clean and functional finish.

  • What happens if issues are found after demo?

If conditions are discovered after removal, we will review options with you and adjust the scope as needed before proceeding.

  • Can moisture affect the performance of my flooring?

Pricing & Estimates

  • How much does new flooring cost?

Costs can vary based on material selection, project size, and site conditions. We provide detailed estimates to help outline expected costs, but final pricing may adjust as project details are confirmed when demo starts.

  • Do your quotes include floor prep?

We include estimated allowances for floor preparation based on initial observations and available information. Because existing conditions cannot be fully seen until removal of current flooring, actual prep requirements are typically determined once demo is complete and installers are on site. Final scope may vary depending on pre-existing subfloor conditions.

  • Do you offer options for different budgets?

Yes, we work with a range of products and can help identify options that align with different budget levels while considering performance and design goals.

  • Do you require a deposit?
